Jessica (Jess/They/Them) is currently the Costume Director at The American Academy Arts, Los Angeles. During their time at The Academy, they have designed over twenty-four Company shows, over thirty exam plays, eleven graduation plays, and twenty one acts. They are currently designing The Last Five Years at the Western Stage. They recently designed Tall Tales and assisted in their first feature film, Poisoned Skies.
They believe that a strong community is central to creating great art, and the breaking of bread between people is inherently necessary to continue as an artist.
Jessica has a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from the University of Washington, Seattle, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Costume Design and Technology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
